Terms of Service

1. Developer and acceptance

RedPandaClean (the “App”) is offered by an independent individual developer (the “Developer”), not by a company or organization. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. App Store license

The App is licensed, not sold. Unless a custom license is provided in App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these Terms conflict with mandatory legal rights or Apple’s applicable terms, those rights and terms control.

3. Purpose of the App

RedPandaClean helps you review and manage photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events. The App does not guarantee that items identified as duplicate, similar, old, incomplete, large, or low-value are unnecessary.

4. Permissions

You choose whether to grant Photos, Contacts, or Calendar access. You authorize the App to access and act on your on-device content only as needed to perform the features and actions you request.

You may revoke permissions through iOS. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your decisions, deletion, and recovery

You are responsible for reviewing every item before deleting, compressing, merging, or modifying it. Deletion actions occur only after your instruction. Deleted photos and videos may remain in the Photos app’s Recently Deleted album for a limited time under Apple’s rules. Contacts or calendar changes may not be recoverable. The Developer cannot restore deleted content.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of your photos, videos, contacts, calendar information, and other content. You grant the App only the device access required to perform the actions you request. You represent that you have the right to access and manage the content you use with the App.

7. Plans and subscriptions

Scanning and limited result review may be available without a subscription. Cleaning and optimizing actions require Pro. The App displays the available subscription duration, localized price, trial terms if applicable, and renewal terms before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled under Apple’s displayed terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings and restore eligible purchases from the App. Billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple.

8. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
• interfere with the App, Apple services, security controls, or another person’s use of the App;
• attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the App where prohibited by law, or misuse Apple’s services.

9. Third-party services

Some features depend on services provided by Apple, including Photos, Contacts, Calendar, iCloud, and the App Store. Your use of those services may be governed by Apple’s terms and policies. Free members may see a Google AdMob banner; AdMob receives advertising and device signals under Google’s privacy terms, while Pro members receive no ads and no ad tracking. RedPandaClean does not provide your photo, video, contact, or calendar content to AdMob.

10. Availability and updates

Features may be corrected, updated, suspended, or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some functions depend on Apple system permissions, device storage, iCloud availability, network access, and Apple platform services.

11. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, including loss of data, arising from use of or inability to use the App. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

Your right to use the App ends if you materially violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and delete it from your devices.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, or legal requirements. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
